Wednesday night was the opening night to my 2nd year (last year of my Diploma of Visual Art) Grad Show and this painting here (an oil on canvas) was my work that was exhibited. The Gallery in building 94 lvl 6 will run this show until Thursday 1st of December and it is DEFINITELY worth a look.

Lost Identity.

These images are based on Australian Identity, in particular – Indigenous culture. My images are of Indigenous Australians whom which have had ancestors and relatives who were taken from their families and forced to assimilate under the Government policy . This has resulted in a lost history in the traditional Aboriginal practices and way of life.

This series of images were taken to represent the lost identity to the land.
